Glenrath Farms

The Family

The Campbell’s arrived at Glenrath Farm in 1959 where they farmed Blackface sheep and a beef suckler cattle herd on the heather clad hills of the Scottish Borders. We all take pride in continuing this traditional farming way of life that brings us all great satisfaction.

The Campbell family have been producing Free Range eggs for three generations. Cathy Campbell diversified into egg production. Cathy reared hens, gathered eggs and delivered the eggs door to door. The egg business expanded due to the demand for good quality locally produced eggs. The business has grown with the Campbell family and is proud to employee 220 people.
