Glenrath Farms – Celebrating 50 years as poultry farmers John and Cathie Campbell started with a few hens in Argyllshire, Moving in 1961 to Glenrath Farm in the Scottish Borders.
We now have 3 generations of the Campbell family, working in the business.
The family decided from the start that they would only ever market their produce themselves. This gave them control over the all- important quality of their eggs.
Four decades later, Glenrath Farms, named after the original home farm, is a vastly bigger business than the family could ever have imagined. In 2000, John Campbell was awarded OBE for services to the poultry industry.
